Voting for the President in the USA, 2020 style

We waited outside this morning, a beautiful fall day, with everyone masked, socially distancing and respectful of one another. We were outside for 20 minutes then stood in line inside the building for another 15 minutes. Texas has early voting from October 13 through October 30. Voters could mail in their ballots if they did not want to stand in line to vote in person. Election Day is the first Tuesday of November and because of the early voting dates extended to all voters, it is hoped that the official day will not be overwhelmed with long voting lines.

I have my ballot but I must still fill it out and mail it. We can track it on line. This is a curious election. I wish we didn't spend years on an election they seem to do it faster in Europe and other places. If I have to listen to one more political add I may scream.

Some reports here in Georgia of 7-hour wait times for voting. We voted by absentee ballot which we hand delivered to the election office.
