Another candy from my childhood that is so different now. Jerry tried one and I tried two, we just didn’t like them. Our neighbor has six children of all ages so I took them to her. I told her I would understand if the children didn’t like them. She said oh not to worry, she does not buy candy, they will be thrilled to have them. For the word yummy yellow and the yellow rainbow today.
There are so many foods that have changed over the years. So many that I loved when I was younger but they are not so good now.
Not all change is good.
But this is an awesome photo of them!

Do you think the candy has changed or your tastes have changed? I know very often what we see as children looks entirely different to us when we are older. I’m wondering if it is the same thing with taste.
@grammyn this candy had a powdered sugar coating. I think the ones I remember were just hard candy, no coating. I am just glad I could use them in my rainbow calendar. Ha!
Nice shot and yellow colour. My lemon tree makes so many lemons that we don't know what to do with them. We give away many and very often Christine (my wife) squashes one in a glass adds a bit of lemonade and give it to me to drink and I don't mind drinking it either.
Great photo for the challenges. My husband and I talk about this sometimes--have our tastes changed, or the foods? Biggest disappointment every year is tomatoes....
I was not big into lemon drops but I do think the processing of a lot of things has changed- different preservatives, different sugars- and they have changed the flavor of a lot of things. Good shot.
