I’m not sure what happened

My hydrangea only has 4 blooms this year. They are a deep pink, I think the color must be because of the fertilizer I used when they were leafing out. They’ve never been this deep pink, they make quite a statement.

They are definitely gorgeous and your photo is a beautiful Composition.FAV we had a late freeze here which I think has affected mine. I don’t think I even have any blooms.

What a lovely bloom. I think the colour depends on whether the soil is alkaline or acid.

I’ve learned that many people in this area do not have many blooms on their hydrangeas this year. We had a late freeze, everyone thinks that is the culprit. I’m just happy to have four blooms!
