We lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and my father took me to a photography studio to have my photo made for Mother for Mother’s Day, 1944. He forgot my clothes and the photographer sat me on a bench and took my picture. Dad had put my diaper on and obviously didn’t quite know how to pin it on correctly. We laughed through the years at all the gaps.
@summerfield Mother always said “Lou Ann, you were born during WWII, there was no film, everything went to the war effort”. Honestly this is my only baby photograph. I would have believed her but all my friends my age have lots of baby photos. Smile!
An instantly recognisable smile! I trust your underwear is more secure these days 😂😂
What a great photo from yesteryear, when Dads weren’t so hands on as they are now maybe 🤔
