It's still a nice shot- but cropping isn't that bad- it's not altering the picture, just zooming in as if you had the lens on. Good shot!

@terryliv I am now using the Canon 70-300 Terry. The Tamron was much too tight and I had difficulties zooming. I have very bad arthritis in my fingers which did not help. I also thought the edges were too soft, the quality not that wonderful and there were shadows in the top corners. Maybe I just had a bad one ;-)
