The sun had almost set here and part of the lake was calm so created these reflections. This is the lagoon in front of our temporary home in Auckland which is tidal and for a large part of the day, is a sea of swampy mud. Beauty arrives with a full tide!
It is amazing what a difference the tide being in does to a view !! We have the same thing at Morecambe, the tide goes out miles & looks rather muddy but once the sea comes back up al is so beautiful ! This must be fave because for one thing it is in one of my favourite places & I love the light here. The evening sun glowing on the houses & then that wonderful sheen on the water, stunning !
