After dozens of attempts at photographing birds, I was reasonably pleased with getting two birds with one camera! The front one is a white-faced heron and the little one at the back is a pied stilt. The lagoon had a wealth of birds including kingfishers which I never managed to get in flight. More practice!
Lovely shot - I am amazed at your bird and plant knowledge and am finding I'm learning a lot from friends here. Thanks for your full descriptions - they add to the pictures story.
