My absolute first at bokeh by maggiemae

My absolute first at bokeh

This is what I wanted to create but needed my beautiful ukelele to star here! On the right is another star - my keyboard! Best seen enlarged.

I do think about each one of the photographers here each day putting thought and effort into a photo and finally posting it as a special one. I do hope they feel it's worth it all even if they don't get lots of comments. People are busy, its the wrong time of day, its the wrong end of the world. I feel so glad I can see the efforts of each one I view as the persons behind the camera have put their heart into it. Even if it is just a passing comment, it also may mean there is a smile there or a respect for skill acknowledged and just plain good photography!
good photo
you are so right.
it is good to see the effort and the talent in all the photos posted here.

Great bokeh Maggie, I'm afraid I have not mastered a bokeh yet.

I love your words Maggie.. you are right, I think we do put a lot of ourselves into a photo and if it isn't one that we feel particularly happy with, then we are leaving ourselves a little vulnerable. All these lovely friends we have on here are so supportive and encouraging, and keep us going for a day when things go a bit better with the camera! I like the mood of this photo, very sophisticated and artistic. It says a lot about you and that's special... fav for the perseverance and result you have achieved here.

What a great job, Maggiemae. It is very artsy looking--very you ; ) And how perfect that you would include your ukelele and your keyboard.
Your words are wonderful and I feel you head the nail right on the head. I love everything I am learning here and it is because of the things I see in other's photos and the words of encouragement for mine. You have played a great part in that for me and I sincerely thank you!!!!

good first attempt, the foreground ukulele and background piano are fitting touches and a good commentary

Very nice! It's sort of mysterious to me- like staring at the stars in the sky- a wondrous kind of mysterious. Well done Maggie!

Great first bokeh, Maggie! Lovely words on all our photographic attempts. I'm finding it hard going at the moment, but hopefully will bounce back with more enthusiasm soon.

Beautiful, Maggiemae -- both your picture and your words. I think we've all learned so much during this year of sharing photographs and thoughts with people from all over the world. It's a real community! Even though we may never meet in real life, I feel I know you and many other regular commentators on 365. On 1 January 2013, we should all raise a glass to our absent photographer friends! And pledge to share another 365 photos.
