This is a glacial lake in the South Island of NZ - why it is that colour! Lake Benmore. A houseboat tucked away in a corner of the lake caught our eye as we chugged past in a launch.
@sugarmuser I would have loved to stay on this boat - any house boat, really - we had yacht and that meant wind -and stuffing yourself in tiny spaces to sleep!
