Low Key Selfie by maggiemae

Low Key Selfie

One of my 365 friends posted a low key apple photo which was so good, I thought I would try and create one of me! I was quite pleased with the result. Doesn't show my wrinkles

This is lovely - the sepia effect makes it look like an old posed studio shot. You have a very faraway look ....

@elizabeth264 Heaven knows, Elizabeth - I took a shot from the computer's camera and as the light was at the side, I turned my face. Then I reduced the exposure right down and put in a vignette.

I love the subtlety and the rather mysterious quality of the light. If you were a medium, you could use this as publicity poster -- "Let Madame Maggiemae predict your future by looking into the light."

Great job, Maggiemae. This has such a cool feel to it. I love it. Fav for me. And LOL about the "not showing the wrinkles"--may have to use that for all my selfies!!!!

@catwoman2 Do you think I am looking out the window, waiting for my lover to come home from the war - ( he never will)??

@yonnie Thank you Yvonne - it was almost by chance that I did this - de-saturated the picture having never done it before and it was quite pleasing!

@maggiemae What program did you use to process it, Maggiemae. I would love to give it a try.
