At this time of year we normally are cooling down with average day temps of 14degC and nights of 8degC. Today we woke up to temps of 20degC and it stayed that way all day much to our surprise! Tonight, the clouds indicated a northwest cloud formation often called lenticular. The sun going down accented the shapes.
I just edged up the contrast a twiddle bit, Gail. Anything else made it turn weird and in unnatural colours so I left it the way I shot it through the window.
This is like a quilted mattress maggiemae...very unusual...lucky you with the temperatures, makes the winter shorter! My DIL's father on his way to NZ for a 3 week holiday so hope the weather keeps lovely for them all!!
@carolinedreams thanks Caroline! We have lots of good sunsets and I say to myself, it's just another one but I'll take a photo then am surprised how good it looks!
