Purple reflection by maggiemae

Purple reflection

This beautiful purple dahlia is about the only flower left in the garden now! A while ago I posted the opening bud of one hiding away in the bush! This one was lying on the ground so rather than mow it up, I snipped it to stand in a tall thin vase on our table! This is actually a reflection of itself!
Very nice of you to spare it for just a little while. Yours are dying and ours are just popping out.

Beautiful composition! I like the soft edges to it. It seems so strange that you are starting to lose all your lovely flowers while ours are just coming into full beauty.

Great reflection photo Maggie, the colour is still quite deep despite it being just about done.
