Pancakes are not our usual breakfast but I wanted to have a special one today for a birthday (not mine). I forgot to put on the homemade maple syrup that I had. It was made with brown sugar as well as some maple syrup.
I saw a little puppy or something at first (do I need better reading glasses or what!) Looks DELICIOUS! Homemade maple syrup? You don't have maple trees there, do you?
I have friends that make their own maple syrup. It's a very long process 40 litres of sap, boiled down to 1 litre of syrup. YUM The joys of Canadian Living! haha
