Victorian bicycles by maggiemae

Victorian bicycles

This is taken on the set date as per my camera but fitted in to a space elsewhere. The Victorian Festival is starting today and I would like to post each day something interesting and photogenic! This lady in front, I know -she plays the ukelele and paints and creates amazing artwork that is well known. Her little dog, Tuppence went with her on this long journey from Mt Cook to Oamaru in 5 days. Tomorrow she has got a place in a Hot Air Balloon and has to be there at 5.30am! This after 5 days of slogging gravel roads, rivers, hills and rip roaring nights of fun!

What a great capture

This looks like a lot of fun, Maggie - great capture. Wow - looks as if riding those bikes would be a challenge - they were called penny farthings as I recall.
