This flowery tower is a yucca and only comes up in the summer. We have several around the garden and they do provide structure to the other bushy plants. This was the sun going down over the road - as sun's do!
Lovely shot of the yucca Maggie and the sun down is glorious I used to have a couple of plants -- but unfortunately got out of hand and the roots extended under my fish pond so we had to cut it down -- it took us years to get rid of it completely as new young plants kept coming up ! But I do miss the large plants & the lovely flowers
