Boats ahoy!

All the narrowboats moored here signify there has been no demand for renting out these boats - or perhaps they all have owners! This little canal was found on a trip to visit with @happypat and was my first view of a narrowboat!

So glad you had a detour maggiemae......narrow boats have such charm.....they are often owned by people who take them up & down the canal at weekends. Lots of people live in them & at the marina in Garstang you can see smoke curling out of the chimneys.
