This was one of the first runs of the day. Just trials and most of the early ones were 'rookies' (never raced before) Our rider Lee, was also a 'rookie' but only that he hadn't raced here. He was no rookie and established 141miles per hour on our machine. Until he is 'registered' he cannot go faster than 150. His next run (21st May) he can go up to 174mph!
Quite technical then with very stringent rules. It looks most exciting, I can just see you sitting graciously with dark glasses on & your beige shawl around your mouth to keep the dust Out! A bit Jane Russel!
So exciting. I have a confession to make - I love going fast on my motorbike or car!! The thought of going that fast thrills me. I look forward to hearing updates of how he is doing :-)
Wow- I think I'm zipping along when I discover I'm over the speed limit at 80mph (usually when I'm singing to something in the CD player and enjoying myself too much to pay attention to the gas pedal-oops!). 174 mph seems impossible! Great shot!
