The quiet waters are best for keeping the young right behind you. Only just a minute or two later, they scattered and I saw one renegade little duckling heading in totally the opposite direction!. Fortunately there were no predators in this quiet area.
I have watched them scatter so many times. It is a wonder they ever manage to find each other again - but they do. You certainly caught them together and attentive here.
