Quite like this :) As a wide shot it works quite well. If you had exposed the moon correctly most of the other details would be lost as it would be underexposed.
@maggiemae Think there's a definite knack to it. I Googled how to do it, used the suggested settings, set camera to infinity and result was a series of instant deletes!
@julzmaioro Of course, Julia - my hand shakes so I either anchor the camera to a pole, fence post..etc or organise the tripod! I think I need to use the EV function.
FAV If you increase your ISO you might get a clearer shot of the moon itself but then you would lose the detail of the horizon which adds so much to the composition of this photo! I think this is brilliant as is!
