Beach Race..

One of the many beach races. There are all the different classes making about 9 in all and they race twice. Mostly around 4 laps except for the major one of 50 miles which goes on for over an hour.

A great capture of all the action. We have been seeing so many motorbikes as we travelled up from Christchurch to Picton. Heaps on the ferry today, and they had all been down your way. There were some lovely machines.

@aikimomm We were very lucky - little wind and a hard sand surface due to a storm a couple of days before!
