Oh, this is very cool! From the thumnail I couldn't tell what it was, when my internet finally cooperated so I could see it was such a lovely surprise. You're really nailing Max Dupain.
I only wish I could see it larger! Some pictures are just meant to be large and this looks like one, it has a very low key around the edges with all that shadow. A simple white border would help display it better in the large view, Low key B&W I have noticed can get lost in the background of the large view on this site.
WOW .... love this. This reminds me of my childhood. Late afternoons at my grandmother's house. Lovely, Maggie. I'm going to have to learn alot about light and shadow!

@karenann LOL! I can imagine that you already know more than you give yourself credit for, gal! Really appreciate your kind comments! Thank you, Karen! Most appreciated!
I don't know,I'm a simple white border on any photo type of guy, treat it as a mount. the wood frame would be on the outside so for me you would still need that white border around the print itself.
@justeddie Thank you for your feedback, Eddie! I may just do that!
@melissapike Thank you very much, Melissa! I appreciate your comments. My old photography professor liked crisp black and white shots with pure blacks and white. He said if it was 90 percent gray, it was "flat." Consequently, I don't do too many of those. That may change though.
