@phil_howcroft The drought over the past few summers caused an overpopulation of pine beetles and they kill pines. There are at least five dead ones on my patch. Normal? During drought - probably. There are still a few left alive back there, but not sure how long they'll last if they've been ravaged by the pine beetles.
