Common dog fennel and a member of the aster family - NOT the carrot family like the herb. I'm happy to see it coming back, starting with it's soft, delicate and feathery foliage. It's a natural insecticide, but the pollinators love its fall blooming delicate scented blossoms and so do I. Phone shot. More info here - http://namethatplant.net/plantdetail.shtml?plant=545
@365jgh Thank you, Judy! It's just an LG phone. I'd rather put the money for an iPhone into a new DSLR. Phones just don't seem to have all the flexibility of a DSLR.
@365jgh Some marvelous captures for sure on those iPhones. Lots of folks have them here, but I'm old fashioned. I'd rather use a film camera, but who can afford film and developing these days. Still, I practice with my phone because some day, it might really be important. =)
