Enjoying The View DSC_6322

We came across this young magpie as we were heading for a walk along Tern Island. It will be Graham's last beach walk for a while. He's booked in for knee replacement surgery tomorrow morning. We'll need to leave home around 5am to be at the hospital by 6. His surgery is scheduled for 7.30am. It's going to be a long day.

Great shot of the magpie. I do hope your husbands knee replacement goes well. I had one done 5 years ago so I know what he's facing. Mine did not go as well as expected but everyone's different. Encourage him to work hard at his physiotherapy.

Maggie's are gorgeous birds but we have one here at the moment who is so aggressive to other birds. I suspect it must have a nest nearby

I do hope all went well with Graham's knee replacement (I'm a bit late commenting). It's a big thing. Chris had a knee replacement a year ago and although it's been successful recovery took longer than I thought it would. Very best wishes Graham. Lovely capture btw. Fav.

@susiemc Thanks Sue, Graham came yesterday and is doing well. He is feeling much better than he did at this time after having his other knee replaced a couple of years ago.
