I took my camera to the hospital so while Graham was in surgery I wandered around the grounds. I heard the call of the red tailed black cockatoos and went in search of them. I found a group of four youngsters and had a lovely time photographing them.
What a lovely thing to see. We do get yellow tailed cockatoos here but don't tend to see many red-tailed ones. I think they are quite rare in this part of Australia.
How good to see these birds and capture them. You are like me taking your camera to hospital. I like to take my camera wherever I go. I hope Graham is recovering ok.
