Autumn In Hahndorf_DSC8569

The Adelaide Hills are putting on a beautiful Autumn display. Our first was Hahndorf. The main street is lined with gorgeous deciduous trees, but it was also full of cars.
Thank you all for you lovely comments and favs for yesterday's shots. We are still having wifi issues. I'm sorry that I can't catch up with amazing photos.
Beautiful shot of Hahndorf love it

A lovely capture. Your photos are bringing back very happy memories of a holiday we had in 1994. We went to quite a few of the same places.

This looks like a fun place to explore.

Great autumn capture! I used to love Hahndorf for all it's antique shops, but I hear now mainly eating places have taken over!

Love those autumn trees.

@gilbertwood It's definitely not the way we remembered it, Denise. There were certainly a lot more restaurants, not the quaint little village that it used to be.

@gijsje it is Bep. Hahndorf was originally settled by Germans.

This is so beautiful! Looks and sounds like a wonderful place to visit. :-)

I wanted to mention something to you, Merrelyn . . . lately my husband and I have been watching some Australian shows on Netflix. We have watched all the seasons of City Homicide and Rush. We are currently watching season two of The Doctor Blake Mysteries. We have thoroughly enjoyed these shows and of course I love watching them because of my daily 365 contact with so many wonderful people from Australia. I think about all of you every time we watch a show. :-)

I definitely need to start to plan a trip to this part of the countryside. And how lovely is @gaylewood comment. The world is truly small with all the friends we make on 365. How good would be if we were all able to meet up in the one place one day?

@gaylewood Thanks Gayle, I'm glad you're enjoying some Aussie drama. The acting in Doctor Blake is snot always too good, but it's a series that I enjoy too. @365projectorgjenfurj I've managed to meet up with two of my Australian 365 friends and have had a phone chat with another. I love being in contact with so many people and being able to see things through their eyes. It would be wonderful to meet more fellow 365ers:)
