Almost to the Top

I've been watching this potato vine grow this past month. It's almost to the top of the tree now.

Why is it called the potato vine? It has very pretty flowers, sort of like a morning glory.

@lynnb Googled it and found that yes, it is a member of the morning glory family. Its tuber is also related to the sweet potato so guess that's the connection. Things I learn.
