This lilac bush is about 45 years old - my mom gave it to my daughter for her 7th birthday. After we moved from that house, I went back and asked if I could get a cutting from that bush. That was nearly 10 years ago. This is the first year it has looked healthy and strong. So proud of it.
It sure does look robust, and you have photographed it nicely. I love to hear about plants being handed down from one generation to another. I have a peony in my yard that was my grandmother's.
