Who Am I? (Yellow Puff)

Only one of its kind in the area - kind of looks like that pink sensitive briar - but that doesn't show any relatives in yellow. Really thought it stood out nicely.

Just found one on the internet identified by a Texas professor that I think may be it called a "Yellow Puff" - fitting for its picture certainly.

Amazing color , shape and detail. I searched for this plant online and it said it might have potential as an anti-malarial agent (in the bark of the stem).
