Well, at least between the flowers and the background. I'd never gotten as clear a shot at the American Lady as I did here. Guess the light must have really helped me out. On black those details stand out well.
Beautiful capture. I like the sign in the background, because it tells where you found this butterfly and the sign color goes with the color tones of the flower. I also like your framing.
@lynnb Yes, Lynn, the city honored me about a year ago by naming the trail for me - I've worked hard to promote fitness in Ozark for many years. Don't think I've missed walking this trail too many days in the last ten years that I've lived close by.
You sneaky devil you. I never knew I was making smart arse comments to a celebrity. That's a pretty respectable sign they gave you. Oh!! The butterfly is pretty good too. This has to be a fav
In the presence of greatness - who know. Congratulations on being honoured. Is this the trail you take all your wonderful shots? Another terrific butterfly shot. We seem to have so few butterflies again this year. Glad I can live vicariously through yours. Fav
So glad to have taken a few moments to get to know you a little bit and to appreciate your wonderful images. I photograph a wide variety of genres but always come back to nature (usually flowers) by choice.
Great shot too of the flutterby!
Love the framing and dof here.
