Green in August??

Took this not far from the butterfly shot - the area has quite a few hiking trails - was so surprised to see how green everything was this late in summer. Was sure tempted to follow that trail!

@gosia In this particular area you might find deer, an occasional bear, fox, coyote, raccoon, squirrel - you might also find muscadine or huckleberries - probably others. Not as familiar with any edible mushrooms though there are many around.
