Remembering my father, long since now passed. Looking through photos to put in a journal for his great grandchildren to get a sense of who he was and write down the stories of his life. This is my favourite photo of him, makes me smile every time I see it and pretty well sums him up. He is on the right with a large piece of coffee bread jammed in his mouth, stirring his coffee. An adventuress larrikin at heart. Often heard saying "I've sailed all the seven sea's" accompanied by a pirate laugh and a jig. Here he is with a kindred spirit, enjoying themselves out for coffee during army service. I wish I could have known him when he was 18 as well.
