When Tilly and I got to our front deck, after our walk this morning, this very noisy skein of geese flew over. I took a couple of quick snaps thinking they'd be rubbish because I only had my 18-55 lens on but I actually quite like the simplicity of this shot.
I've Google'd skein vs wedge and there's no definitive answer - some people say the v-formation is called a wedge but others say it's a skein whatever shape they're flying in.
