The last of my gallery show and one of my favorite images from the Hart House Hotel in Medina NY. I saved this shot for the Hang It All challenge but boy did I want to post it!! I just loved the simplicity of the chair and the texture of all the materials. Maybe I'm crazy but its the shot that inspired a week's worth of chair pictures in the imaginary 365 Gallery. Hope you enjoyed the series!
This week- what would I hang over my mantle in the living room. Hmmmm... now how to approach this one?!
It looks so comfy and inviting. My mum has a similar style chair that just begs to be sat in! She used to do a lot of needlework (before the arthritis tok over) and having an armless chair was wonderful, gave you freedom of movement.
Love the composition of the chair and curtains . A beautiful capture.
Thank you for you visits, the fav and you so nice comments on my pic.`s. I`m very pleased with it
@sangwann Thank you Dione! I took the shot this way- so I guess you could say it was cropped "in camera". @salza Thank you Sally! I sure do understand about the trials of arthritis! @thistle Thank you Joyce! @henrir Thanks Henri! @pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula! I sure do hope I get to see those lovely meadows and fields in person some day! @susale Thank you Suse! @quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel! I should post the color version someday- just as nice. The tones on the fabric are light browns, soft golds and beige. @francoise Thank you Francoise! Easy enough to see them all in one glance by clicking on the calendar if you want.
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole! You would LOVE this hotel. It's not only your style but it has a cute coffee shop on the ground floor!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! This was in the master bedroom. I was in there when you and Bill were still out in the main space taking photos. Got chatting with the fellow making the bed while Josie was telling me what to take pictures of!
