@aglennc I was visiting my sister-in-law when she lived in San Diego and she took me to Seal Beach. You can get much closer to the seals there than you can here. It was the first time I'd seen seals that close.
@olivetreeann Yes, at La Jolla's Seal Beach you can get close, but they are having trouble keeping people who are harassing the seals away. posting security and/or police there these days during pupping season. Too bad some people are just idiots.
@aglennc We saw one boat get rather close to the sand bar and knew instantly they were breaking the law. It's so annoying when people behave that way.
