King Tut by olivetreeann

King Tut

They may look like scribbles to us, but these hieroglyphs made perfect sense to the ancient Egyptians who read them.

And, I can't say his name without thinking of Steve Martin's crazy tribute to the "Boy King".

Taken at the Toy Soldier Museum Shoot Out with my photo club. One diorama depicted an Egyptian processional which included this image of King Tut.
A wonderful image. We all dutifully filed through the King Tut exhibit when it came to Dallas.

@louannwarren I saw it in NYC and I can still remember being fascinated with the intricate artistry in some of the simplest utensils. And of course- the death mask which was so opulent!
