It's All About How You Look at Things

Well, I landed on another blank page today, so I was flipping through the book for some inspiration and landed on the beginning of chapter 9. And how appropriate is this title?! Of course as photographers we are always trying to "see" things in a different light, photograph them in a different way, or even to look at our surroundings from another perspective. And this is one of the greatest lessons Milo learns while he travels through the Lands Beyond. Maybe all Milo really needed was a camera!
Ann! This is perfect in every possible way.

I agree that it does depend on how you look at things. Great picture to show this!

You know, I think that would be one of the best lessons we could teach our Children. Give them a camera and have them explore the world through the lens of a camera.

@httpgeffed Thank you Colleen. That is a little magnifying glass that belonged to my grandfather. I had taken a picture of the page by itself but it seemed flat- so I grabbed the magnifier and that's how the shot came out.
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
@nicolecampbell Thank you Nicole- not that well thought out I must confess. I was just flipping the pages wondering what to do and I landed on chapter nine. I guess the picture presented itself more than I thought about it!
@mrssmith Thank you Carla- glad you like it! Make sure you see the collage I did of the Bushkill in the 365 album!
@dmariewms Thank you Marie!
@digitalrn Rick that is such an excellent idea- especially for grandparents. I know there are some younger 365ers here and I'm always so impressed with the pictures they take! What a great way to develop their creativity!

this is true. we all see things a different way and we all think a different way. what one thinks is funny may not be appreciated by the other person. great set up and perspective, ann. i like it.

@summerfield Thank you Summerfield. I didn't really have any ideas to fill in the blank today, so I let my fingers do the walking through the book and when I landed on this page, I knew it would make a good shot.
