Love this one!

Although the color version is beautiful, I think I like the black and white with the selective coloring better.

@httpgeffed Thanks Colleen!
@henrir Thanks Henri! It has a completely different feel in b/w.

So bright and colourful but I think I prefer the b&w and selective colouring photo.

@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- that seems to be the general consensus so far!

come to think of it, it does complement the flower's colours! :-) pretty!

Gorgeous colours, Ann. Great shot. Love that little beetle.

Definitely a different look compared to the b & w, but I love them both equally for different reasons. The colors are just beautiful and glad you showed them off here.

Very lovely in colour too.

What a very nice shot. Love the color of the flower and the beetle. The contrast between them is so cool. They compliment each other. Nice photo. I'm starting to become so discouraged with mine. I may not last much longer here, Ann. Keep up the great job on excellent photos.

@lyno @summerfield @sangwann @cimes1 @kandernob @prttblues

Thank you Lyn, Vikki, Dione, Carole, Karen, and Bev! I so appreciate the comments!! Glad you all like both versions- they are quite different, aren't they?

@prttblues Don't you dare leave 365 until we've had a meet up!!! I AM coming, I just don't know when- and meeting you is at the top of my list. So, here's what you need to do- jump in on the same-september challenge and give yourself a creative push. Actually, I've been loving your fog shots! And the pianos were great too. What's discouraging you? Maybe I can help. I'm no pro, but I've always got ideas!

Gorgeous colours. Both shots are unique in their own way. I like each equally!

@olivetreeann I don't know what's discouraging me. I'm in a depression at the moment so it's not helping. There's a lot going on in my head. Some days I just don't like my pictures and I don't blame anyone else for not liking them either. I'm glad you are liking the fog pictures. I can't believe how much we are getting! It's so bizarre! It's making my job of getting a shot easier though! Ma Nature can keep up with that. I won't get into it all on here as it's not the forum for it but I'm working on getting out of my slump. I make myself get a picture a day no matter what it is and even if it sucks.

@anazad511 Thank you Ana!
@prttblues Hang in there Bev- It sounds to me like you are making some good choices to keep your head up. And believe me your pictures are not THAT bad! They're fine. It's not easy to come through depression, but getting yourself out each day for the shot is a good start. I have no idea what's going on with my sister, but when I know, you'll know!

Brilliant colour, fabulous shot

@wenbow Thanks Wendy! I shot this around noon, so the sunlight was quite bright. But the flower truly is brightly colored to begin with.
