My Other Car is an Amish Buggy

I was hoping to use this shot for the scavenger hunt but once again, the sooc shot is a bit lackluster and boring- until you add the Impressionist and bokeh effects in Ribbet! I wanted to get a shot without a car in the background but there were 4 cars in the driveway, so that wasn't going to happen. In the end, I decided it actually makes the shot a little humorous which in turn made me wish I could submit this to the scavenger hunt competition. But unfortunately it is NOT sooc.
Awesome shot

Great capture. I think you can erase the car on the left. The Amish buggy was a great find.

Difficult to erase that car? I wouldn't know how - Snapheal? Anyway this is a great find and lovely with the blossom!

Thank you all for the comments! We are off visiting family so my comments on your shots are on hold for a bit! But I promise to make it up to as soon as we get home!

are you sure the camera has no 'colour saturation' function? my old p&s has it and i always thought it's available in all models. but you're very good with composition so submit it anyway, you never know.

@summerfield Thanks Vikki! No, this one can't be submitted as I applied Ribbet's "Impressionism" and "bokeh" effects to it. However, if I'd taken the shot out of focus and added a little kick in the saturation, that would have been ok. The only processing "allowed" is what you could do in-camera (basics- not some of the fancier things you can do in an I-phone camera for instance) or replicate in the computer as if it was film being developed in the darkroom. Bottom line- the picture should be as SOOC as possible. I can see how this will help the judges in the judging process. Sometimes when you add all the bells, whistles and icing you lose sight of how good the picture actually is. And you know how you can save a lousy shot with processing! Not that this was a lousy shot- it's just that I have better, but they're not as humorous.

Great shot, Ann. I love the subject. I bet you could have cloned the car out of the shot because you have excellent processing skills - which you used nicely on this one.

@prttblues Thanks Bev- I probably could have but it would have taken a long time!
