Although it was very different from Easters past, this Easter has still been a day of celebration! We went to church on line- here "at home" in our church and at our younger son's church "afar" (both live on Facebook), looked up some of our favorite songs on Youtube and sang along and later on we'll have a nice ham dinner. Even though we'll miss sharing it with my sister and her family I plan to set the table with the good china and silverware. The sun is shining the weather is warming up. There are a lot of voices out there painting a picture of hopelessness. But today, the empty tomb says otherwise!
Beautiful shot. We watched our service on Facebook and in the afternoon Melody and I did an Easter reflections on Facebook. You can check it out if you want
Thank you Rob, Gloria, Louise, Bruni, Wendy, Kathy, Nina, Brian, and Lisa! This was just a small portion of a massive plaza all done in this mosaic tile. It was beautiful. If I was there now, I'd be taking a picture with my wide angle lens but back then I didn't have the camera to capture everything. What I know now makes me wish I could go back!
celebrating this special. Happy Easter!
The reminder of Hope is always there, I too stopped listening to the doom sayers
