Three in a Row

The day after the wedding we had some alone time and went to the beach. We took a nice walk and enjoyed some bird watching right along the shore. These Sanderlings were fun to watch. They used those pointed beaks to dig among the pebbles while the water receded but as soon as it would come back in they'd run away.
