These beautiful flowers grow on the beach in pure sand. How they survive I don't know. I have only found out today that they are called Gazania and are native to South Africa. I suppose here in Australia they are classed as weeds, but I think they are beautiful. The colours and patterns vary so much, they always look so bright and cheerful.
@rhos Just sunlight. I managed to get this before the clouds went grey and it started to rain. Still quite warm, around 26 degrees today but after the rain it became very humid!
