Such a lovely capture, Babs! I love the processing- good call with the b&w, it gives this a timeless feel. So beautiful- I don't know why but my heart just melts when I see dads with their little ones :)
I reckon this could be a master piece, the triangle formed by the water and shoreline is so classical. The father and baby are in perfect position. Great capture.
@elaine55 Thanks so much Elaine. This is the closest I have ever lived to the sea. This beach is just at the bottom of our road and as you can see it gets really crowded! Just love it here. Not moving again.
@heidihp Thanks so much for the fav Heidi. It was a beautiful day. We had virtually no rain for 2 months and then three days of it, but yesterday it stopped and the sun shone.
@paulaw@gamelee@humphreyhippo@angelat@streats Thanks so much for your lovely comments. After three days of rain and hail the sun shone again and the weather is now beautiful again. We desperately needed the rain though, so were thankful for that.
OMG! Beautiful image, gorgeous processing. Lucky you stopping by the beach, I am so very landlocked! So, I love all of your water and water bird shots.
@sunraye Thanks so much. This beach is at the bottom of our road and is the closest we have ever lived to the ocean. Just love it. After 3 different countries and 16 moves I'm not moving again!!!!
@angelar Thanks Angela. I love walking along the beach when there are so few people there. This particular beach gets a bit more crowded on occasion than many others because it is a 'dog walking' beach. Dogs are only allowed on certain beaches and there are 'doggie poo' bins along this section of the beach too. People can collect a plastic bag from the top of one of the bins and then drop the deposit in it on their way back to their cars.
