Today has been a very odd day. This morning the sky was very heavy and it looked as though we were about to get storms, then by lunch time the skies had cleared and the sky was blue. Later this afternoon the sky went black again and we had thunder for quite a while, but no rain. Then by late afternoon the heavens opened and it finally poured with rain. It has been very hot and humid today with temperatures reaching about 35 degrees C. The temperature has dropped now but we now have 95% humidity. Could be in for a very uncomfortable night.
This photo was taken at the beach in among the mangroves and I just loved the patterns made by the sunlight and shade of the mangroves.
