I have always found clowns a bit scary and this one is no exception. I took this photo at the fairground recently and I attempted to do a high key shot to make this clown look more scary than it actually was, if that is possible.
I had never heard of high key until I joined 365 and don't really know if this fits that bill. What do you think?
I agree I am not a fan of a clown....they never make me laugh for one but you can't get away from the fact that this is an impressive face...well processed.
I don't know enough to comment on whether it fits the high-key bill but it sure is a scary face, would definitely give my daughter nightmares and I'm not over keen myself!
@jackie8@cathy366@mcmary@tesssa@beryl@sewsharyn@eyesmile@happypat@hermann@suesmith@paulaw@doofus123 Sorry for the group reply, but been on the run again today after our breakfast at Salamander.
I seem to have scared the life out of most of you with this shot. Hope you didn't have nightmares. I didn't even attempt to go on the ride which this clown was advertising. Taking the photo was scary enough. I need therapy now. ha ha.
@sunraye He is scary isn't he. Enough to give you nightmares!!! I don't think this high key. I have looked at some tutorials since I posted this and will check it out soon. Have to put that on the list of photos to experiment with.
it is terrifying ------i always liked clowns until poltergeist the movie -and then stephen Kings "It" clinched it for me -this one looks like the one from "It" mini series
@annied Thanks Annie. I think I was traumatised by clowns as a kid when my mum used to take me to the circus. I needed therapy after taking this shot. ha ha.
Great shot!
