I woke up with a splitting headache this morning and now at 5 pm it still feels as though I am wearing someone else's head and it doesn't fit as good as mine.
I thought I would post another photo taken at the fairground a few days ago. Come to think of it this is just how my head is feeling at the moment. ha ha.
I came to the conclusion when I took this photo that anyone who has a ride on this must be mad. It must feel like they are standing inside a washing machine.
Thanks to everyone who commented on my b&w collage yesterday and my street art photo. I will try and catch up on your photos later this evening once I have had dinner, a cup of tea and a couple of panadol.
I hope your headache has gone Babs.......have an early night. Perhaps it's the heat, seems funny saying that! Fairground rides are steamed clear of in this family, we all hate them except Alex who bucks the trend.
Looks amazingly scary but fantastic photo subject!
You must have Ed's he's had a headache for a couple of days too. I suggest a swap! As for the ride, I love the colours in this but I can't even go on a swing!
A super capture -nice to look at but not to ride as far as I am concerned !! Sorry to hear you are not feeling too good Hope that headache disappears quite soon ! -- take care !
Hope the head's feeling better now Babs. I do quite like scary rides but the ones that go round and round just make me really sick so I have to stick with the roller coasters! Super shot.
I always call these rides vomitrons and never went on them. I was always worried about vomit and centrifugal forces. ;) Great shot and hope you're feeling better.
Fantastic image full of colour and movement Babs, I just loved this far ground ride as a child, worked on centrifugal force the thing spun around at high speed the the floor was dropped leaving you stuck to the wall, until it slowed down, can't remember ever feeling sick happy days:)
@karlow75 Thanks Kane, you must be mad. Just watching the speed this thing spins round is enough for me. This ride wasn't as popular as some of the others though.
@_catherine_@happypat@chimfa@beryl@paulaw@ethelperry Thank you all. My head is fine again today. I think the problem comes from my neck and I get nerves trapped which cause the really bad headaches. Just need a neck transplant. Keep looking on ebay for a second hand neck but no luck yet. Let me know if anyone spots one.
@pcoulson Thanks Peter. I can remember going on a ride similar to this at Blackpool when I was a child too. I think it was called the wall of death. I just take photos of it these days.
Looks amazingly scary but fantastic photo subject!
