We all rely on Sally @hermann to come to the rescue for cloud names :)
They're great clouds by the way. Okay, I'm going to take a guess at Cirrocumulus or mackeral sky as we used to call it.
I think mackerel Sky too but do t know it's correct name.....beautiful though & always seems to herald warm fine weather! Love the foliage beneath , great contrast of bright colours!
@gigiflower Thanks Sam. Yes its a frangipani, it is huge and the smell is amazing.
The other trees at the back are blackbutt, bottlebrush, photinia and umbrella tree.
@pixiemac Thanks Sarah. Know what you mean. Now that the summer holidays are over things start to get busy again. So many activities are starting up again.
Beautiful clouds indeed!!! Trivia sounds like fun...enjoy. (but you have probably already been there and are now fast asleep?? It is 6pm here..maybe you are just rising?
All this lush green and bright blue sky with those cotton puffy clouds. I would dearly love some of that green here right about now but I'll settle for your beautiful shots. Great POV too.
@paulaw Thanks Paula, we did win one round, but not the whole quiz, but that's not what it all about for us, we just have fun.
One of the questions was which horses won the Melbourne Cup in 2013 and 2014. The answer we came up with was "a brown one and a black one", but for some reason he marked that as incorrect. haha.

@hermann Sally to the rescue! I had no idea, I looked them up and I couldn't tell what's what at all!

The trees are, for our non Aussie friends, blackbutt, bottlebrush, photinia, umbrella tree and the one at the front with the flowers is a frangipani.
