Today we have been to the Hunter Wetlands with some members of our photo club. The day didn't start too well because it poured with rain, but it did brighten up later. The problem was that once the rain stopped, out came the mozzies and the air was thick with them. Luckily I was covered from head to toe with insect repellent, but I still managed to get bitten once.
We had a lovely lunch at the wetlands too, so I don't have to cook dinner again tonight.
I just loved this shot of a young black swan with the water dripping off his beak, making a ripple on the water.
Thanks everyone who commented on my 'A Happy Face' photo yesterday, I will catch up when I get chance to reply and comment on your photos.
Lovely capture and I see you had not 1 but 2 photos in the top 20. Well done you. Just loved the platoon. Hanks for keeping an eye on us during the cyclone
I was very lucky with this photo, it is more or less sooc apart from a slight crop. I just loved the colours on the water.
