The Great Hall - Montsalvat

Thank you all for the fantastic response to yesterday's photo and for putting it on the PP.

Today is a photo of the front of the building where the door was located. This is the Great Hall at Montsalvat, which is an artists' colony in Eltham, Victoria and we spent a day there when we were visiting our daughter and grandchildren recently.

Montsalvat is a great location for wedding photos as you will see on Friday when I post my weekly 'people' photo.
great looking place

Lovely old building. There is so much more character in these than in modern buildings. Great shot Babs.

Such a neUtiful building Babs but I would have thought it would be centuries old so,was surprised to find it built as late as the 1940s. The architects & builders were inspired......glad therecarecartists living there, they must appreciate every inch.

@happypat It reminds me of Portmeirion in North Wales Pat, although this is on a much smaller scale. That is another favourite magical place of mine too.
