I am back, briefly, ADSL Internet down and I am having to rely on very slow wireless network.
As many of you will know I had surgery yesterday and am now minus a gall bladder and a 3 cm gall stone. Hell of a way to lose weight. ha ha
I got home a couple of hours ago and want to download my Friday people photo before I take a bit of a nap. Didn't get much sleep in hospital last night, unfortunately they are full of sick people.
Will catch up on your photos over the next few days, if and when I am able to connect due to unreliable wireless service.
This aboriginal chap was at the heritage festival we went to a couple of weeks ago.
Glad you are home Babs, was going to say in one piece, but that's not strictly true. Shame about all those sick people in hospital, they were a recurring problem when I worked in hospitals. Great shot BTW. Hope you have a speedy recovery :))
@beryl@annied No Beryl. I had a gall bladder op, not a sex change :) Besides his chest isn't as hairy as mine, ha ha. Feeling much better tonight, but will check out a few pics on 365 before I go to bed.
Gently recover is the thing.....you will be weak & tired for a good while so don't expect to be raring to go for a bit....all normal so good to be without it!
What a striking shot Babs, love the red bands. I haven't looked back since I had my gall bladder removed about 8 or 9 years ago and have never looked back! 3 cm sounds huge I just had loads of little ones!
@happypat@paulaw Thank you both. It would appear that half the people on 365 are minus their gall bladders. That bit is fine at the moment, but I have diverticulitis too and it is pretty sore around my colon, probably because they pump in lots of air while doing surgery, but I just want to make sure all the "traffic" goes through okay. I've always had terrible plumbing.
Oh gosh...it must be so good to have this behind you! And the long term dietary restrictions of diverticulitis can be a pain (no popcorn - very sad!). I hope you're feeling more yourself and up and around soon.
@taffy Thanks Taffy. Not as much of an ordeal as I expected. Just got to keep my fingers crossed that the diverticulitis doesnt flare up in the nextcouple of weeks. Luckily not a fan of popcorn. I do like corn on the cob though
@eyesmile@quietpurplehaze sorry ladies missed these comments combination of not being 100% and limited internet access. Everything more or less up and running again now though.
